Waking up in the morning, checking out all the social apps and the stories of happy people and their engaging lives and wondering why can't I be like them. Walking in the streets and seeing pretty people with gorgeous looks and wondering why can't I be like them. Witnessing peers rising high and high unlocking achievements and wondering why can't I be like them.
Amidst these questions, we start to lose our answers and amidst these Whys we start to lose our Nows. We encircle our flaws ourselves but only if we see keenly, these flaws, all that appears in front, bound to eternity, is a part of us, not a flaw. Flaws lie inside, the goodness overcame by rudeness, cruelty, selfishness, jealousy; these are what we call our drawbacks which take us behind and hinder our way of happiness, not the amount of hair on our body or the short height or heavyweight or the facial fallacies.
Forget about inner and outer beauty, just think of yourself as you are right now and what you can do without you being them. Seeking yourself is a process, a gradual realization of what you are able to do and what lies inside you ready to be opened up. Define your life yourself and don't handle your key to others for they'll ruin it all for you without their intention of doing so. If you surround yourself in the shell of their stories and perfect dimensions and smiling scenarios, your limit can't even be a mile let alone the sky.
All that's there for you will get you. I know it's difficult to survive in this world caring for superficial things, but God knows you and He's looking out for you. As superficial as it gets, He will dig it all deep and deep for you making it all smooth and you'll walk your road which might be different from others and that's where the beauty of all of it lies; own way and own life and own time.
Everything for you, the way you deserved. Remember; You're pretty and flawless in your own way. You are happy and gifted in your own way. You're smart and able in your own way. You speak and write in your own way. You achieve and you live, in your own way.
