IPL: Best or Waste ?

The cash rich Indian Premier League (IPL) has been widely famous for producing young talents since its start in 2008. Along with some best Indian players, top foreign players are also making valuable impact in the league. The amount spent on players by their franchises is sometimes unbelievable to think also.

The IPL has produced some Indian stars like Rohit Sharma, Wriddhiman Shah, Manish Pandey, Jasprit Bumrah, Bhuvneswar Kumar etc. And some international players like David Warner, Steve Smith, AB Devilliers etc have also been attracted by the cash rich league and dominated throughout the years.

BCCI have always tried to produce young players and giving them opportunities to showcast their talents. Some people have criticized the league as a waste of money while some have supported this T20 League. IPL has seen some shameless incidents like match-fixing for which some players were suspended as well. But regardless of it, players and franchises have shown neat and clean playing after that and attracted many fans.

The first edition was won by Rajasthan Royals and since then teams are actively involved in popularising the game of cricket around the globe. So this league has been valuable for the growth of Indian Cricket over the years and will continue to produce talents.
